Northern California Mediation

More than 95% of lawsuits settle. Mediation can result in the settlement of the lawsuit early in the process rather than on the courthouse steps after so much money has been expended. There are some cases that simply will not settle and the parties need a neutral to hear the facts, apply the law and render a decision. Arbitration provides a cost and time-efficient forum to get the matter "tried."

What is Mediation?

In a mediation procedure, a neutral intermediary, the mediator, helps the parties to reach a mutually satisfactory settlement of their dispute. Any settlement is recorded in an enforceable contract.

Experience shows that litigation often ends in settlement. Mediation is an efficient and cost-effective way of achieving that result while preserving, and at times even enhancing, the relationship of the parties.
